Bristol Surgical has received a new policy From Ballad Health: If a patient has had their 2nd COVID vaccine, they must wait 6 weeks before having a mammogram. The policy change aims to avoid false positive results, as the vaccine may sometimes show swollen auxiliary nodes in the screenings.
If you are scheduled or due for a mammogram here at Bristol Surgical, and have recently received the 2nd COVID vaccine, please let our team know. Call or message us to discuss and/or reschedule. Thank you.
